Lucas Copado, the son of ex-professional footballer Francisco Copado, is set to showcase his talent at FC Energie Cottbus after a loan from Linzer ASK. Born on January 10th, 2004, in Munich, Lucas began his youth career at spVgg Unterabschitz, much like his father who played professionally against Energie Cottbus.

In the summer of 2016, he moved to Bayern Munich's youth academy, where he made his mark with the U23 team, playing 27 matches and contributing 7 assists and 9 goals during the 2021/2022 season.
