Malaga's Exciting New Culinary Experience with Dabiz Muñoz

Innovative Dining Arrives in Malaga Airports

Celebrated chef Dabiz Muñoz, named the best in the world for the third consecutive year by The Best Chef Awards, has launched his first Hungry Club in Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport in collaboration with Avolta. This groundbreaking dining space aims to elevate the gastronomic experience in airports.

A Unique Culinary Concept

  • Hungry Club offers a dynamic menu that adapts to different times of the day, from breakfasts and brunches to quick dinners.
  • In addition to Madrid, nine more locations are set to open in airports in Barcelona, Malaga, and Palma de Mallorca.
  • Muñoz’s goal is to dismantle the stereotypes of airport food by providing high-quality local products with his unique creative flair.

Muñoz stated, “I travel to five continents almost every year, and I have been studying how to create something never before seen — a hedonistic, dynamic, and frenetic experience with our high-quality standards.” The Hungry Club locations will operate during the same hours as duty-free shops.

Supporting Local Businesses

Isabel Zarza, General Director of Avolta for Southern Europe, emphasized the project’s commitment to excellence and uniqueness in each territory by partnering with local businesses, enhancing the airport experience.

As Avolta establishes itself as a commercial partner of Aena in 2023, it will manage duty-free shops in 21 airports across Madrid, Catalonia, Andalusia, Valencia, the Canary Islands, and the Balearic Islands for the next 12 years.
