Tragic Flooding Events in Ringsaker

According to reports from Hamar Arbeiderblad, flooding has wreaked havoc in Ringsaker, particularly impacting the Veldre barnehage's playground. Anita Grønvold Tollefsen commented on the devastating situation saying, “I was very sad. This is just sad. Every time it rains, we experience that the water is badly transported from above.”

Playground Destruction and Community Response

On Monday evening and into Tuesday morning, water inundated the playground, causing a substantial portion to be swept away. The condition of the playground remains uncertain. Although the kindergarten remains open, the playground is now dismantled and unsafe.
