New Love for Sofie Karlstad

Influenser Sofie Karlstad (27) has confirmed she has found happiness in a new relationship after her breakup with Tommy Steinsvik last fall. "Yes, I have a boyfriend. It's super nice. I’ve met someone who is extremely like me, and we are very happy together. We do a lot of nice things, and having him in my life is very rewarding," the influencer told Dagbladet.

How They Met

Explaining how she met her new flame, Sofie Karlstad mentioned the encounter was purely coincidental. "I was at a photoshoot in Stavanger, and there was a lot of flight trouble at Gardermoen, causing my flight to be delayed multiple times. I was supposed to have dinner with some friends and go out afterward, but my flight didn’t land until late in the evening, so I was about to drop it," she shared.

However, a friend of Karlstad was performing at a venue, so she decided to head over for just a quick visit. "That’s where I met him, and it’s been us since then. It was very unexpected. We’ve lived on the same street for three to four years and have never crossed paths, which is strange because we shop at the same stores, go to the same park, and visit the same places—and we’ve never met each other. It was very random but very good," she reflected.

Already in April, Sofie hinted about her new romance during an episode of her podcast, "Gjennom glitter og gråstein," where she referred to him as a special someone. "I was in the Bahamas for Easter, then came home and spent a night with a 'special one'... going back and forth to the cabin, to Hemsedal, and back, sleeping at a 'special one' a lot lately," she had said in the episode.
