Jameson Williams' breakout season appears to be upon us. In his 2024 debut against the Los Angeles Rams, the Detroit Lions third-year receiver put up career-high numbers. But no play was better than his third quarter touchdown pass from Jared Goff. Williams pulled a double move on Rams cornerback Tre'Davious White that left his grasping for air. Take a look: Not only did Williams blow by White, but in a last-ditch effort to slow him down, White interfered with the Lions receiver, drawing an illegal contact penalty. With that catch, Williams moved to 89 receiving yards on just three catches, a career-high for him in a single game. With the additional 13 rushing yards, it’s the first time Williams has ever crossed over 100 total yards in his career. The play put the Lions up 17-3, but the Rams quickly struck back to make it a 17-10 game before the end of the third quarter.
