LeAnn Rimes has hopped across the pond to take part in The Voice UK—and it’s an experience that’s already felt rewarding beyond measure! The Voice UK Season 13 kicked off on Saturday, August 31, with LeAnn Rimes solo-spinning in favor of contestant Joy Farrukh. As mesmerized as she was by her vocals, LeAnn wasn’t prepared for what came next: Joy requesting her vocal presence on stage for a second act.

“When I walked onto my first day of filming @thevoiceuk, I had no idea of what to expect,” LeAnn revealed on Instagram. “This show really put my improv skills to the test. It’s all about rolling with what’s in front of you, and I have to say I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the challenge and that energy!”

While LeAnn felt jet-lagged after having just flown in from Australia, she was thrilled to take the stage with Joy in what she calls a magical moment.
