On Monday morning, an unexpected water issue has rendered several streets in Encino flooded. Video from the scene shows water gushing into the air near Hayvenhurst Avenue and Oldham Street late Sunday night. The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) has not been able to identify the cause of the situation promptly.

Uncertainty Surrounds Affected Areas

As of 6 a.m. Monday, it remains unclear how many residents are affected by the flooding. Additionally, there has been no information about a timetable for the commencement of repairs. Meanwhile, officers from the Los Angeles Police Department are actively diverting traffic away from the impacted area.
