Construction has officially begun on a new $7 million childcare centre in Warrnambool, intended to create 148 new places. After more than three years in planning, the Bright Start Childcare project is finally moving forward following the approval of finances.

Economic Impact

Bright Start Childcare's CEO Brent Wilson expressed excitement about the project, highlighting that it will create 50 new childcare jobs on top of those generated during construction. The entire project injects funds into the local building community.
