Jayden Meghoma is undergoing a medical at Brentford ahead of a proposed permanent transfer from Southampton. Brentford are finalising a deal for the 18-year-old left-back for a total package in the region of £10 million. A four-year contract has also been agreed for the promising England youth international.
Background and Previous Club Performance
Meghoma joined Southampton on an initial scholarship deal from the academy in 2022 before signing a first professional deal in July 2023. A regular for the club’s B team, he has had limited opportunities in the first team, having made his debut in the EFL Cup against Gillingham last August.
