The recent Express Entry draw saw the distribution of 3300 invitations to apply (ITAs) on August 27, 2024.

Details of the Recent Draw

The date and time of this round was August 27, 2024, at 17:44:02 UTC, with the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of the lowest-ranked candidate invited set at 507. The tie-breaking rule was applied on June 05, 2024, at 01:08:58 UTC. This marks a notable increase from the previous round on August 14, 2024, where 3200 invitations were issued.

Eligibility Criteria for Canadian Experience Class

To qualify for the Canadian Experience Class, candidates must meet certain standards including:

  • At least one year of skilled work experience in Canada within the last three years.
  • Approval to work in Canada at the time of the work experience.
  • All work must be compensated; unpaid work does not qualify.

It’s important to note that individuals who have worked without authorization are ineligible for this program.

Provincial Nominee Programs Updates

In August 2024, two Provincial Nominee Program draws were also conducted:

  2. On August 13, 2024, 763 ITAs were issued with a cut-off score of 690.
