By Wednesday, temperatures could soar to the mid 90s in some spots as summer remains dominant. The jet stream moves further north, maintaining the warm air in the region. A cold front should pass through on Wednesday evening, stirring up late day thunderstorms. Behind this front, cooler temperatures will return with highs in the mid 70s on Thursday and Friday.
