Francis Ngannou vs. Renan Ferreira: A High-Stakes Staredown
Francis Ngannou could not be bothered with Renan Ferreira when the Brazilian pancaked Ryan Bader earlier this year at the PFL vs. Bellator super show in Riyadh. But now that “The Predator” is booked to throw down against “Problema” at the promotion’s upcoming pay-per-view (PPV) card on Sat., Oct. 19, 2024 at The Mayadeen in Saudi Arabia, Ngannou was left with no choice but to come face-to-face with Ferreira at the conclusion of the “Battle of the Giants” press conference. Remember, Ferreira knows a thing or two about smashing former UFC champions.
Cris Cyborg Joins the Showdown
Also throwing hands at the upcoming “Battle of the Giants” event is Bellator champion Cris Cyborg, who (finally) gets her chance to silence PFL titleholder Larissa Pacheco. It should be noted that Pacheco already holds an upset victory over Olympic gold medalist (and current UFC bantamweight contender) Kayla Harrison and could cement her place as one of the best female fighters in the world with a finish over her fellow Brazilian. Unfortunately, Cyborg was not in attendance for today’s presser.
