Earthquakes have rattled parts of Western Australia, with a significant event hitting the central Wheatbelt. A 3.7 magnitude earthquake was recorded at the epicentre in Wyalkatchem, 192 km east of Perth, at 5:40 PM Thursday, as reported by GeoScience Australia. The quake struck at a depth of 6 km.

An additional quake measuring 3.0 occurred near Merredin at 3:49 AM local time and was confirmed by Geoscience Australia. This tremor, located at a shallow depth of approximately 4.3 miles, can often lead to noticeable vibrations on the surface. Despite being minor, these tremors can still have an impact on nearby vicinity.
