Parking Disruptions at Stade Roi Baudouin

On Monday afternoon around 3:30 PM, debris fell from a bridge above the junction between the A12 coming from Antwerp and the outer and inner ring of Brussels. As a result, the connection from the A12 in Antwerp to the Brussels ring and the Brussels ring to the A12 towards Antwerp has been closed. Parking C at Stade Roi Baudouin can only be accessed via the inner ring, potentially disrupting the match for the Red Devils. This is reported by the Road and Traffic Agency and emergency services.

Current Traffic Situation

According to the firefighters of Vlaams-Brabant West, teams are on site on the outer ring ramp coming from the A12 due to debris on the roadway. The debris originates from the wall of a bridge. Both the cause and stability are currently being assessed by an expert. The road has been closed to traffic. Please follow police instructions and avoid the area.

  • The debris is a decorative stone layer that may have detached due to water infiltration.
  • Traffic coming from Antwerp via the A12 can no longer access the outer ring, while traffic on this outer ring can only take the parallel route to Strombeek-Bever to access the A12 towards Antwerp.

At 8:45 PM, the Red Devils will face France at Stade Roi Baudouin in the Nations League. Supporters driving to the match who wish to park in Parking C are advised to leave early and closely monitor traffic information.
