The incident occurred near the office of Zeeshan Siddiqui, Baba Siddiqui's son, in Bandra East. Siddique suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was swiftly taken to Lilavati Hospital for medical care. Upon admission, his condition was critical, having sustained gunshot injuries to his chest and abdomen.

Political Background

Siddique refrained from running in the 2019 assembly elections and held the position of Minister of State for Food and Civil Supplies from 2004 to 2008. Earlier this year, he joined the NCP.
