There is no such thing as a “regular” schedule in college volleyball anymore but it sure feels familiar to have a Friday and Saturday night match this weekend. Friday Nebraska faces Purdue, and Saturday it is Rutgers. Nebraska also had five days to prepare for this weekend. They last played on Sunday, October 6th at home against Iowa. Five whole days to work, recover small injuries and get ready for a physical Boilermaker squad.

Purdue has wins over Kentucky and Minnesota. They have losses to Kansas, Creighton and Penn State. They did not play an extremely challenging schedule during the first three weeks of the season. It was a medium challenge that ramped up just before conference season started with matches against Kentucky, Kansas and Creighton all within six days of each other.
