Bollywood actor Govinda is currently recovering after suffering a leg injury when his licensed revolver accidentally discharged on Tuesday morning. The incident occurred around 4:45 am, just before he was set to leave for Kolkata for a performance. As he was inspecting his gun, it went off, causing a bullet to strike his leg. He was promptly taken to Criti Care Hospital near his residence in Juhu for urgent treatment.

Bullet Successfully Removed

In an audio statement released to fans, Govinda expressed gratitude for their support, saying, “With the blessings of my fans, my parents and god, I am doing better now. The bullet has now been removed.” He also thanked the medical staff for their care. In particular, Dr. Agarwal from CritiCare confirmed that the procedure was successful and that Govinda will likely be discharged in one to two days.

Support from Political Figures

• Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde personally called Govinda to check on his well-being.
• Shinde assured that the actor and his family would receive all necessary assistance during this period.
