Parenting presents numerous challenges, including teaching children vital skills. It’s not uncommon for parents to feel responsible for their child’s learning delays. My daughter needed new shoes for a hike, and at almost 9 years old, she still couldn’t tie her shoes. Some say she’s too old for this task, but each lesson I attempted ended in her confusion and frustration.
