KNMI Issues Code Geel for Dangerous Weather

In the night from Thursday to Friday, the KNMI warns of hazardous conditions due to hard wind gusts and thunderstorms. Wind gusts reaching speeds of up to 90 kilometers per hour are predicted from the southwest, raising the risk of fallen branches and flying objects such as roof tiles. Traffic disruptions are also anticipated due to the impending storm.

Areas Affected by Code Geel

The KNMI has issued a Code Geel warning for the provinces of Zeeland, Zuid-Holland, Noord-Holland, Flevoland, Friesland, the IJsselmeer area, and the Wadden Sea. This weather alert takes effect at midnight and will last until 3:00 PM on Friday.
