Revolutionary Data Analytics Course Launched

Kolkata, the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management (IISWBM) and the Institute of Data Engineering, Analytics and Science Foundation Technology Innovation Hub (IDEAS-TIH) at the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) have launched an Executive Programme on A Data-Driven Approach to ESG and Sustainability for Business starting from Nov.

The two institutions signed an MoU on Tuesday to formalize their collaboration on this certificate programme. ISI director Sanghamitra Bandyopadhyay emphasized the importance of addressing environmental and social threats through data-driven approaches.

Course Details and Objectives

The primary objective of this partnership is to harness the power of data analytics to integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, while also instilling a commitment to sustainability and social responsibility in younger generations. The 10-week course will be offered in a hybrid format, including a campus immersion programme on both IISWBM and ISI campuses.
