Where to Register to Vote in Kansas
In Kansas, voters have until October 15 to register to vote for the upcoming November 5 election. Residents can register online, or in person at their local election office, the Secretary of State’s Office, or the DMV.
Voter Registration Drives
On National Voter Registration Day, several organizations will host registration drives:
- UMKC student organizations: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on campus
- League of Women's Voters: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Penn Valley and Longview Community Colleges
- Jackson County expungement clinic: 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Morning Star Community Center
To register, a valid Kansas driver’s license or non-driver ID is required. Those without an ID must use a paper application.
Where to Register to Vote in Missouri
In Missouri, voters eligible for registration must be 17.5 years old at registration and 18 by the election date. The registration deadline is October 9. Voters can complete the Missouri Voter Registration Application online or request a mail-in form.
Address Changes
If voters change their address, they can update their information on election day at their new polling place. However, if they move to a different county, a new registration form must be completed.
