Eleonora Giorgi, a guest on Verissimo, recounted her recent updates on therapies for pancreatic cancer, which struck her months ago. The 70-year-old actress stated, "The story began 10 and a half months ago. Chemotherapy was able to remove the main tumor, but pancreatic cancer creates a sort of sheath. We encountered some 'surprises'; for three months we tried to tackle them, but it worked only partially. The metastases have enlarged, and I will undergo significant tests tomorrow and the day after. Samples will be sent abroad, to America. A key for 14% of patients was found in Houston. We are fighting with all our strength. The best solution would be to attack the metastases with radiotherapy. The alternative is incredibly wild; we learned this two days ago. Everything will be okay, but if it doesn't, I say goodbye... I feel overwhelmed with love and affection, and I hold no grudges."

Finally, Giorgi reflected, "Life is like this. It's crazy; priorities change. It happens, worse things happen too. Life is a poker game, and you can never tell. We must hope everything goes well, but I am clear-headed, rational, and fatalistic. Fate strikes, and we cannot understand why. It's crazy to say: this has been the best year of my life; I am a lucky person. Everything will be okay."
