NORFOLK, VA (WTKR) - Offense sputters again as Old Dominion felt pretty good at halftime, down just four to Virginia Tech in front of a record crowd of 22,208 fans at S.B. Ballard Stadium. However, the Monarchs' familiar troubles reared their ugly heads.

Old Dominion was sacked five times and went 2-for-13 on third downs, ultimately losing to the Hokies, 37-17. This loss marked Tech's first victory at ODU in three attempts.

Quarterback Changes and Key Plays

  • The Hokies opened the scoring with Kyron Drones finding Jaylin Lane for a 25-yard touchdown.
