Inoxtag: The Ultimate Challenge

In February 2023, Inuès Benazzouz, known as Inoxtag, announced his ambitious goal to conquer the Everest peak. This extraordinary challenge required intense physical and mental preparation that spanned nearly a year.

A Year of Preparation

Accompanied by coach Idriss and mountain guide Mathis Dumas, the 22-year-old YouTuber embarked on a three-week mountaineering training in Chamonix. This experience equipped him with essential skills to take on more challenging summits.

Scaling Legendary Heights

Inoxtag subsequently tackled iconic mountains like the Dent du Géant in the Mont-Blanc massif and the Matterhorn, one of Switzerland's highest peaks. After six months of intensive training, he headed to Nepal to conquer Ama Dablam, a Himalayan peak soaring above 6,800 meters.

A Tough Return to France

Upon his return from this incredible adventure, Inoxtag focused on compensating for his month-long absence from social media through hard work. His coach Idriss reminded him of the true mission: the ascent of Everest.

Extraordinary Adventure Awaits

In April 2024, Inoxtag and his team, supported by sherpas, journey to Everest’s base camp for altitude acclimatization. The climb officially begins in May, but this venture is more than a physical feat—Inoxtag reveals the challenges faced by mountaineers, including the detrimental effects of altitude, increasing pollution, and the significant tourist influx.
