Green Bay Jordan Love's Injury Status

The Green Bay Packers have officially listed quarterback Jordan Love (knee) as questionable for the Sunday home opener against the Indianapolis Colts.

Running back MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) and receiver Jayden Reed (calf/shin) are also questionable.

Love did not practice this week after injuring his knee late in last Friday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles, but Head Coach Matt LaFleur has kept the door open for Love to play. “He’s doing good,” LaFleur stated after Friday’s practice. “He’s got a great attitude and is working hard and getting better every day.”

If Love is unable to play, third-year quarterback Malik Willis will likely start in his place.

Team Injury Report

Reed was added to the injury report after being limited at Friday’s practice. The second-year receiver had an impressive performance against the Eagles, collecting 171 total yards (138 receiving and 33 rushing) with two touchdowns.

The Packers expect the following players to be available against the Colts: defensive lineman Kenny Clark (toe), running back Josh Jacobs (back), linebacker Quay Walker (groin), cornerback Corey Ballentine (oblique), and linebacker Edgerrin Cooper (knee).

Clark returned to full participation on Friday after being limited earlier in the week.

The Colts' Injury Report also features some notable players. Safety Julian Blackmon (shoulder) is ruled out, while three players are listed as questionable: defensive tackle DeForest Buckner (back), defensive end Kwity Paye (hamstring), and receiver Josh Downs (ankle).

Neither Blackmon nor Buckner practiced this week, while Paye returned on Friday in a limited capacity. Kicker Matt Gay (hernia) is expected to play despite not receiving a game status.
