Isiah Harwell's College Decision Day

Thursday could be another historic day in Gonzaga recruiting history. Isiah Harwell will be deciding his next school between Gonzaga, Houston, Texas, and Cal. There is a lot of buzz around Houston and Gonzaga being the two finalists for the star recruit. Cal has been deemed a dark horse in the race.

The five-star shooting guard from the Class of 2025 visited Gonzaga this offseason and loved every bit of what the school had to offer. Especially the winning atmosphere that the program represents.

  • “My favorite part of the campus was coach (Mark) Few’s office. I mean he had so many trophies in there. Just being in there, you can tell he is just a winner.”

At 6’6”, Harwell has extreme athleticism and tough shot-making abilities. He has good explosiveness and burst when attacking downhill. Harwell offers size and versatility for the future Gonzaga backcourt.

A player on the current Gonzaga roster who may be the most familiar with his game is Nolan Hickman as both attended Wasatch Academy in Utah. Hickman graduated from the school back in 2021, and Harwell could end up being his replacement at the 2 spot if he were to commit. You have to wonder if that will affect his decision in any sort of positive way.
