On Wednesday, it was learned that rapper Koba LaD, whose real name is Marcel Junior Loutarila, was involved in a mortel accident in Créteil on Tuesday night. The incident occurred when the vehicle he was driving collided with a stationary truck near an exit ramp of a service station on the A86 due to a punctured tire.

The front passenger of the vehicle, aged 30, tragically passed away at the scene. Koba LaD and two other passengers in the back were lightly injured and transported to the hospital.

The preliminary elements of the investigation, opened for ‘involuntary homicide,’ indicate that the rapper purportedly attempted to reach a service station after experiencing a tire puncture.

Subsequently, his vehicle struck the rear of the parked truck. Tests to determine if Koba LaD was under the influence of substances were conducted, as reported by Le Parisien. By Thursday afternoon, it was confirmed that he was indeed under the influence of stupéfiants.

As of now, the rapper has not been placed in custody due to his hospitalization. Further investigation is expected to clarify the exact circumstances of the tragic event.
