Android users are set to benefit from a Google Play Store update that enhances the app download and updating process. Following this change, users can now download three apps or app updates simultaneously, significantly improving the previous one-at-a-time approach.

This functionality was first tested in 2019, and earlier this year, the Play Store began allowing two apps to be downloaded concurrently. The latest update takes it a step further, enabling downloads for three apps, streamlining the overall process.

How to Access Simultaneous App Downloads

• Open the Play Store on your Android smartphone.
• Tap on the profile icon in the top-right corner.
• Select the Manage apps and device option.
• Go to the Updates available page and click Update all.

With this, three apps will update at once, improving efficiency significantly.

Other Future Features in the Google Play Store

Google is also reportedly testing various features for its Play Store, including updates to Play Protect, which may allow users to re-scan flagged apps without needing to uninstall them. Additionally, it has moved away from generating large Android Application Packages (APKs) in favor of Android App Bundles (AAB), streamlining the sideloading process.
