Datacom's Core Datascape Modules: A Breakthrough for Local Government Software

Key Developments in Datacom's Core Datascape Modules

Datacom's Datascape local government software play is experiencing remarkable success, now boasting 21 councils utilizing one or more core modules of the suite. Among them, Wattle Range in South Australia has implemented the Datascape CRM system, while Moorabool Shire in Victoria has adopted the property and rating system, both becoming fully operational on the Datascape core ERP modules.

Expansion Across New Zealand and Australia

Additionally, two councils in New Zealand selected Datascape for full ERP solutions; Waimakariri successfully launched the CRM module in July, while Kapiti Coast is still in the implementation stage. In Western Australia, two more councils have made the switch to Datascape, with an astounding 15 opting for the citizen portal, community engagement system, or council website.

Collaboration with Regional Software Holdings

The initiative has further gained momentum with Regional Software Holdings, a council-owned software provider, revamping its IRIS integrated regional information system using Datacom's Datascape software.

Despite encountering $23 million in impairments to the local government software unit's value for the year ending March 31, 2023, Peter Nelson, Datacom’s Managing Director of SaaS products, expressed optimism regarding the ongoing success of their technology solutions.
