Agibot, a robotics start-up founded by Huawei Technologies’ former “Genius Youth” recruit Peng Zhihui, launched its family of humanoid robots on Sunday. The Shanghai-based firm aims to compete with Tesla's Optimus automatons.

“We have made some breakthroughs… in product research and development in the past year, and we’re now at the forefront of the industry,” said 31-year-old Peng during the online launch.
