KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Representative Emanuel Cleaver II (MO-05) presented a Congressional Award Gold Medal to a Lee's Summit West student yesterday, August, 16. Ethan Wood earned the award for his dedication and service to his community. Wood completed over 408 voluntary work hours over three years, establishing a 3D printing lab at Operation Breakthrough, giving out hand-painted cards at senior centers, mentoring local youth robotics teams and more.
