The Oura Ring 4 with upgraded sensors was launched in select global markets on Thursday. This smart ring highlights a redesigned titanium build and is available in six colourways. With compatibility to the Oura App and supporting Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) connectivity, it is offered in twelve size options and ships with a size-specific charger.

The ring is equipped with Smart Sensing technology which is claimed to deliver more accurate health and activity readings. Oura Ring 4 features heart rate and temperature sensors among various other capabilities.

Oura Ring 4 Price and Availability

The price for the Oura Ring 4 starts at $349 (roughly Rs. 29,300) and comes in a range of sizes between 4 to 15. Color options include Black, Brushed Silver, Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, and Stealth.

According to the company, the ring is available for pre-order via select channels in the US, UK, and certain European countries, with shipping set to begin on October 15.

Oura Ring 4 Specifications and Features

The Oura Ring 4 boasts a stylish, non-allergenic all-titanium build and features up to 100m water resistance. Incorporated is the Smart Sensing technology with advanced algorithms that promise precise health and activity readings.

Additionally, the ring includes red and infrared LEDs to track blood oxygen levels during sleep, while green and infrared LEDs measure heart rate and variability continuously. An accelerometer records daily movements, complemented by a sensor measuring body temperature fluctuations.

The updated Oura App now provides comprehensive insights into stress, activity, and reproductive health. Oura Labs, their experimental features platform, is also available on both iOS and Android devices.

The Oura Ring 4 is designed to deliver up to eight days of battery life, taking approximately 20 to 80 minutes to charge based on the power level. It includes a size-specific charger and USB Type-C cable, measuring 7.90mm in width and 2.8mm in thickness, with weights varying from 3.3g to 5.2g.
