Enhancements in HPE Aruba’s Network Management Software
HPE Aruba is pushing the boundaries of network management software with significant upgrades to its kindle platform, focusing on streamlined observability and third-party management capabilities.
New Features Overview
- Improved Device Configuration Engine: A new common configuration model enables simpler administration of Aruba's wired, wireless, and gateway systems.
- Expanded observability features offer deeper insights into network performance.
- AI-Generated Optimization Models: A broader selection of AI-crafted optimization frameworks designed to improve network functionality.
Simplifying Network Management
According to Alan Ni, senior director of edge marketing for HPE Aruba, the updated device management package allows users to leverage tools like Python, Ansible, and Terraform for easier configuration. With over 90 new APIs available, users can now conduct operations from a single console, vastly reducing the complexity of managing different device types.
“We support tons of different network components, from switches and routers to IoT devices, and that requires customers to configure each family of devices separately. Now we can manage everything with a single API, making the process faster and reducing errors,” Ni adds.
