The new Home panel allows seamless management of Google Home devices directly from the quick settings panel. Users can turn lights on or off, activate automations like Movie Time, and adjust thermostats with ease. All these functionalities are accessible through the TV remote, streamlining control in one place.

New Features and Updates

The update also introduces a dedicated Sports Page in the 'For You' tab, providing personalized recommendations and quick access to sports content, including YouTube highlights. This feature is particularly beneficial as it caters to sports fans during the season.
In addition to these updates, Google is rolling out several Gemini-powered AI features that will enrich content discovery on Google TV. Features such as show summaries and season breakdowns make choosing what to watch easier. Ambient mode has also been upgraded to allow the creation of AI-generated screensaver art.
