Google Chrome enhances security with three new features aimed at user privacy and safety. The new enhancements include improved Safety Check, easier removal of unwanted notifications, and smarter permissions management.

1. Enhanced Safety Check

First up, Chrome’s Safety Check has received a tune-up. This feature is designed to uncover malicious downloads, compromised passwords, unsupported extensions, and other hazards. The improved version will automatically run in the background to scan for a broader range of threats.

Moreover, Safety Check will guard against abusive notifications by revoking permissions from websites flagged as deceptive by Google’s Safe Browsing service.
