Existing patient monitoring systems often depend on nurses managing patients from centralized workstations, leading to inefficiencies due to high patient volumes and staffing challenges. This collaboration will utilize the cobas pulse, a point-of-care device, to allow real-time measurement of multiple vital signs directly at the bedside, including pulse rate, oxygen saturation, and blood pressure, positioning nurses to enhance patient care without returning to centralized workstations.

Moreover, this innovative solution is anticipated to incorporate machine learning models that predict clinical deterioration using historical data, empowering healthcare providers to respond quickly to patient needs.
