JAIPUR: According to the latest jaipur news, established medical colleges in Kota, Ajmer, Udaipur, Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Bikaner are at the forefront of MBBS aspirants' preferences. The list of available seats post round 1 of NEET counseling has been released by the chairman’s office at SMS Medical College, indicating fierce competition.
Seats Availability After NEET Counseling
- Kota Medical College: Only 35 out of 194 government seats are available for round 2.
- Ajmer College: 21 out of 193 government seats remain.
- Udaipur Medical College: 18 out of 194 government seats are open.
- SMS Medical College, Jaipur: Closed all but 11 of its 209 government seats.
- Jodhpur and Bikaner Colleges: Have 22 and 21 vacant seats, respectively, from their total of 208 seats.
The total MBBS seats available in Rajasthan before counseling started was 5,204 across all categories, including government, NRI reserved, and management seats. Currently, 2,285 seats are left for the second round of NEET counseling, with 534 government seats out of the initial 2,071 available.
NEET students prefer established medical colleges due to their strong reputations; however, new colleges are also generating interest from aspirants.
