Martial Arts Stars Fueling Fitness: Discover Jordan Yeoh's Journey
Martial Arts Inspiration and Fitness Journey
As a child, Jordan Yeoh admired the physiques of martial arts star Bruce Lee, Conan the Barbarian, and the buff characters in the animated television series ThunderCats. Shyness, however, prevented him from hitting "the intimidating gyms" that were full of muscular guys. Eventually, he decided to make a change. Today, the 37-year-old Malaysian influencer has transformed both mentally and physically.
Fitness and Wellness Expo
Dubbed the "Jay Chou of the fitness world" due to his resemblance to the Taiwanese singer-songwriter, Yeoh has over 14 million followers on social media. He is set to be a top international fitness instructor at this year's Hong Kong Fitness and Wellness Expo, taking place at AsiaWorld-Expo from November 22 to 24.
Yeoh will showcase metabolic conditioning/metcon workouts, which are designed to boost fitness levels quickly. He explains that metcon involves basic exercises, making it accessible for everyone, regardless of fitness level.
“It’s perfect for people who don’t have much time,” Yeoh says.
Fatherhood and Fitness Philosophy
Fatherhood has shifted Yeoh's fitness goals. His focus has now expanded beyond aesthetics to include mental health and longevity. His realistic approach emphasizes enjoyable movements over perfection. “Fitness has boosted my confidence,” he shares, highlighting how physicality influences mental wellness.
