Seattle Seahawks Embrace Crucial Catch Month

The Seattle Seahawks recently hosted patients at a practice session as part of the NFL's Crucial Catch initiative in collaboration with Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. This special event highlighted the incredible stories of six patients who have battled cancer, with each representing one of the six screenable types of cancer: breast, cervical, colorectal, lung, prostate, and skin.

Honoring Survivors' Journeys

Each patient was invited to the upcoming Crucial Catch game and given a chance to ring the Crucial Catch bell on the field during halftime. Their inspiring stories serve to promote awareness of the importance of early detection and treatment options.
