AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) - Senator Jon Ossoff announced Tuesday that $7.2 million is coming to Georgia to strengthen access to mental health and substance abuse treatment, including Augusta. According to the center, the funding, which is being provided through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), will be used to establish and expand local programs that help individuals struggling with their mental health or substance use.
