Mental Health Services and Addiction Support Through Local Levy Renewal
Mental Health Services Vitality Through Levy Renewal
TRUMBULL CO., (WKBN) - Voters in Trumbull County will see a renewal levy for alcohol, drug addiction, and mental health programs on their ballots. The 10-year, $1 million levy generates $3.4 million a year for the Trumbull County Mental Health and Recovery Board. Funds brought in from the levy makes up a third of the budget. It’s used for agency contracts so people in the county can receive mental health and addiction services.
Mental Health and Recovery Board Executive Director April Caraway says the levy is needed in order to continue to provide current services. Without this funding, many programs could face cuts, negatively impacting those who rely on them for support.

It’s critical for the community to prioritize mental health awareness and accessibility to effective services.
