Entertainment Gaming News: Pokémon Champions

The Pokémon Company announced a new title focused on Pokémon battles inspired by the core series games. Pokémon Champions will let trainers from around the world pit their Pokémon skills against each other across mobile devices and Nintendo Switch. It even connects with Pokémon Home, letting players bring over Pokémon from other games. Game Freak is overseeing the development of Pokémon Champions, which is being handled by The Pokémon Works.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A Preview

We finally got a look at gameplay and a release window for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, the upcoming Switch game set in the Kalos region’s Lumiose City. Players will select from starters Totodile, Chikorita, and Tepig, and explore a city undergoing a high-tech urban redevelopment that caters to both humans and Pokémon. Pokémon Legends: Z-A will include Mega Evolutions, and is slated for release on Nintendo Switch in late 2025.

Pokémon TCG Pocket's Expansion

Pokémon TCG Pocket’s fourth expansion, Triumphant Light, drops on Feb. 28. Players can expect Arceus ex as a powerful card — and part of an expansion that includes additional Pokémon ex cards, new trainer cards, and the unveiling of Pokémon with unique Link Abilities.

Pokémon Unite Expansions

The Pokémon MOBA is expanding its roster in 2025 with the addition of Suicine on March 1. Following that, Pokémon Unite players can expect Alolan Raichu in April and Alcremie sometime after that. Delicious!

Pokémon Masters EX Events

Pokémon Masters EX is about to celebrate its 5.5-year anniversary, introducing Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre. Two new Master Sync Pairs will appear during the event: May (Champion) and Kyogre, and Brendan (Champion) and Groudon.

Pokémon Sleep Updates

Pokémon Sleep, the game about sleeping and catching sleepy Pokémon, will feature a Cresselia vs. Darkrai event in March. Zzzzz… (complimentary)

Returning Pokémon Concierge

The Netflix animated series Pokémon Concierge is coming back this September with new episodes and new Pokémon. Same old overworked Haru, though.

Pokémon Cafe Remix Menu Update
