Overwatch 2: My Hero Academia Collaboration Details
Overwatch 2's next exciting anime crossover brings in the heroes and villains from My Hero Academia this October. Blizzard announced on Thursday that this collaboration will launch in mid-October, showcasing five brand-new skins available in the in-game shop.
New Skins for the Crossover
- Tracer will dress up as Deku
- Juno takes the form of Uravity
- Reinhardt will cosplay as All Might
- Kiriko transforms into Himiko Toga
- Reaper portrays Tomura Shigaraki
Each skin is set to be available from October 17-30 and can be purchased individually or as part of a discounted Mega Bundle, which will feature additional cosmetics and voice lines. While Blizzard has yet to announce pricing, it's worth noting that individual legendary skins typically cost 1,900 Overwatch Coins.
More Collaborations in Overwatch 2
This anime collaboration adds to Blizzard's lineup of previous crossovers, which included One Punch Man, Cowboy Bebop, and other notable partnerships such as K-pop group Le Sserafim and Porsche. It's important to note that players won’t literally play as Deku, Uravity, All Might, Himiko, and Tomura, but rather, they will be cosplaying as these beloved characters.
Overwatch 2 is freely playable on multiple platforms including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
