EA FC 25 has officially been released for all the consumers who have paid $100 for the game. However, after all these years, the question is still the same for many users: is it worth it?

If you have been keeping up with EA Sports' cash cow, you know the answer is not that simple. Is there simply no scope left to innovate, or is EA deliberately releasing a one-trick pony each year?

The Decline of EA Sports FC

I have not come across a title worse than EA FC 24, and I am confident that EA FC 25 will not fare much better. Last year, there were innumerable complaints from the EA Sports FC community and content creators alike.

Many fans even left the game before Futties, citing poor gameplay. Players struggled with glitches and issues that made the experience far from enjoyable. The game's major mode, Ultimate Team, often felt like a slot machine simulator.

Gameplay Problems Persist

• The same old tactics year after year

Many players are fed up with the gameplay being a complete copy and paste from last year, leaving little room for hope that EA FC 25 will be any different.

The Need for Change

At this point, EA needs to rethink its entire approach to the EA FC series. It's clear that gameplay should be the primary focus, not card-collecting mechanics that detract from true football simulation.
