L&T Finance Ltd. (LTF), one of the premier non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) in India, was honored with the Champions of ESG award at the Global Fintech Fest 2024 held in Mumbai. This prestigious event, organized by notable entities including the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), acknowledges companies shaping a sustainable future.

Commitment to ESG

  • LTF's ESG journey commenced in the fiscal year 2018-19, focusing on integrating sustainability practices into its operations.
  • The company has implemented a Sustainable Finance Framework (SFF) and set bold ESG targets aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Significant Achievements in FY24

In fiscal 2024, LTF achieved remarkable milestones:

  1. 44168 electric vehicles financed, contributing to a reduction of approximately 8266 tCO2e emissions.
  2. LTF has sequestered 1982 tCO2e through its extensive plantation initiatives.
  3. Over 1270 lakh community members supported through CSR initiatives worth over Rs. 60 crore.
