Nearly 600,000 units of GoveeLife and Govee smart electric space heaters have been flagged by federal safety regulators due to overheating issues, which have led to seven reported fires and one minor burn injury.

  • Approximately 48,600 units were sold in Canada.
  • Pricing ranged between $30 and $150.
  • These heaters were available from September 2021 through September 2024.
