Ron Storhaug is joining Cornerstone Government Affairs’ federal government relations team ahead of the 2025 tax fight. Storhaug was previously deputy assistant secretary for tax and budget at the Treasury Department’s Office of Legislative Affairs and was also the senior economic policy adviser for Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.).
Arshi Siddiqui has launched the boutique lobbying firm Bellwether Government Affairs, which will represent clients on a broad range of issues while significantly focusing on the upcoming tax policy debates. Siddiqui, previously a partner at Akin, also served as a senior policy adviser to Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and is a House Ways and Means Committee alum.
