Chinese Baijiu and Whisky Feature prominently at Hong Kong's Wine and Dine Festival for Cruise Visitors

Exciting Collaboration for Hong Kong's Wine and Dine Festival
Over 8,000 cruise passengers have been invited to Hong Kong's Wine and Dine Festival, scheduled to launch on Wednesday evening. This initiative represents the biggest collaboration between the city’s tourism promotion body and the cruise industry.
Festival Details and Cruise Participation
The passengers will arrive in Hong Kong on Thursday aboard three cruise liners: Silver Nova, Hong Kong Costa Princess, and Costa Serena. Costa Serena will dock at the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, while the other two will anchor at Ocean Terminal in Tsim Sha Tsui. Notably, this marks the first stop for Silver Nova in the city.
- The festival is expected to draw 150,000 visitors, a rise from last year's 140,000.
- Festivities will run from Wednesday to Sunday at the Central Harbourfront.
- Over 300 drink and food stalls will be featured, highlighting culinary delights from around the globe.
Culinary and Beverage Delights
This year’s festival will showcase products from traditional wine-producing regions such as Bordeaux and Burgundy, alongside innovative wines from Thailand and the United Kingdom. Attendees can expect to taste Chinese baijiu, cocktails crafted by award-winning mixologists, and a designated whisky and gin zone featuring gin from Vietnam.
- 300 food and drink stalls from multiple countries.
- Culinary and cocktail pairing masterclasses will be available.
Although Tropical Storm Trami led to the cancellation of a fourth cruise ship's arrival, a significant number of cruise passengers with Silver Nova confirmed participation in the festival alongside the iconic Star Ferry tours of Victoria Harbour.
