October 10: Perfit Introduces Agreements for Former Physical Customers
New Opportunities for Former Physical Customers
As of October 10, Perfit has taken steps to alleviate customer concerns following the closure of the Physical gym chain. Over 60 customers have agreed to new contracts, allowing them access to fitness services in Wan Chai and Mong Kok, with terms effective for up to three years.
Restoration of Fitness Services
- Perfit reopened Physical's Wan Chai location on October 4 and Mong Kok on October 10.
- Clients can continue using their paid private coach classes without additional fees.
- A monthly service charge of HK$288 applies after the current contracts expire.
New Brand Vision
Perfit, which operates under parent company Fameglow Holdings, emphasizes its aim to establish a fresh brand, devoid of ties to Physical. The company’s initiative seeks to assist affected customers amid the uncertainty following the abrupt closure.
Those who wish to accept this offer must sign a consent form for the collection of their personal information and contract details from Physical.
Customer Perspectives
Many former members express mixed feelings about the offers. Eric Shum, a customer with a lengthy contract, stated, “I am the lucky one... It’s still a good thing that a company is willing to take over.”
